Acura to Showcase New TL in Chicago

When it first debuted, the Acura TL was an absolute revelation in every sense of the word. Finely made, well-styled, and with a price tag that was more than competitive, it really introduced the world to the Japanese sports sedan in earnest.

And then it got beat with an ugly stick, and it’s never recovered. Sure, the technology is still excellent, especially on the SH-AWD equipped models, and yes the build quality leaves little to be desired, but the styling is questionable at best and downright hideous at worst.

So it’s with high hopes that we announce the upcoming February 9th debut of the 2012 Acura TL at the Chicago Auto Show. Promising to “further enhances its position in the segment with aggressive, yet refined styling and performance,” further details should become available as the release date approaches.
