Lexus Brings More Expensive LFA to Geneva

Published on March 7, 2011 in Geneva by Dan Fritter

The Lexus LFA is already a pretty controversial car; carrying a price tag that would put most European exotica to shame, many have pondered the viability of such a vehicle from an otherwise mainstream manufacturer.

So, Lexus apparently hopes to make it appear that much more affordable with the introduction of an even more expensive special edition: the Nürburgring Edition. Costing a whopping $70,000 USD more than the already expensive standard model, the Nürburgring version bring 10 more horsepower to the table, as well as an enhanced aero package and slightly quicker shift times. With only 50 copies being produced, all will undoubtedly be snapped up double quick, and all will undoubtedly make standard LFA owners feel like they got a downright good deal.
