Mercedes Benz Introducing C-Class Coupe

Published on March 9, 2011 in Geneva by Dan Fritter

Mercedes has chosen Geneva as the location where the iconic German brand will unveil their latest offering that’s sure to be of interest to anyone in the entry-level luxury sports coupe market: The C-Class Coupe.

"By extending the C-Class portfolio, we are consciously targeting new customers," said Dr. Joachim Schmidt, Head of Sales and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Cars. "The new model is youthful, stylish and expressive. What we are offering is an exceptionally sporty way to enter the world of the Mercedes-Benz coupe."

The tasteful new coupe will debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1 and make its way to North American showrooms in September. The 302-hp C350 and 201-hp C250 include the progressive technology featured on the upcoming 2012 C-Class sedan, but packaged in a coupe design that will give shoppers a counterpoint to the wildly successful BMW 3-series coupe.
