Kia Bringing 2012 Kia Rio Sedan to Big Apple

Although a lot of the Korean carmaker-centric headlines may focus on Hyundai, there’s certainly no denying that Kia is a close second.

But while Hyundai seems to migrating towards a larger image at the expense of their runabout Accent lineup, Kia is content to continue refreshing their smaller offerings, and will do precisely that at the upcoming New York auto show. Having shown off the five-door hatchback bodystyle of the Rio at the recent Geneva show, the Korean automaker promises to bring the sedan variant to the Big Apple. Technical specifications are currently withheld, but many believe they should be unsurprisingly similiar to those of the five door variant; at least here in North America.
