Volkswagen Creates Edible Ad

Taking a cue from Fiat, who pulled a similar stunt in the European market, Volkswagen has recently run an advertisement in South Africa’s Auto Trader magazine that’s entirely edible. Quite effectively communicating the new Golf R’s ability to consume tarmac, the ad depicts a close-view of the asphalt the Golf R allegedly hankers for. Constructed mainly of rice flour, water, salt, food colouring and glycerine, it puts a new spin on tasteful advertising.
