Kia Canada Inc. awards Forte5 to the winner of the TSN Predictor Point Streak Challenge.
- Hockey fan predicts NHL outcomes throughout the 2010/2011 regular season to win a 2011 Kia Forte 5-door.
Kia Canada Inc. presented the keys of a brand new 2011 Kia Forte5 SX to the winner of the TSN Predictor Point Streak Challenge. Adrien Mousseau of Belle River, ON, trumped over 18,000 other contestants and was crowned the champion of the contest which saw him predict the correct outcomes of daily NHL games.
The TSN Predictor Point Streak Challenge tested participants to show how well they know Canada’s favourite pastime by correctly predicting the outcome of one of the daily NHL games from that day. Fans would earn one point towards their streak by making a correct prediction. With the opportunity to add an extra point to their streak by correctly answering the game’s Double-Down Question of the Day, fans could jump up in the standings quickly. However, if they answered the Double-Down Question of the Day incorrectly, the fan’s point streak would be reduced to zero.
From November 2010 to April 2011, the fan with the highest point streak each month was titled as a monthly TSN Predictor and took home $1,000 cash. Each of the six monthly TSN Predictors were entered into the exclusive draw for a one-in-six chance to win the all-new 2011 Kia Forte5.
Mousseau was the winner of the month for February with 16 points and was then entered into the final draw where he was lucky enough to be selected to drive away with the fully loaded Forte5.
Mousseau will drive the vehicle home from Gus Ravenberg Kia in Windsor, ON, where he celebrated the news with family and was congratulated by Kia Canada Inc.’s National Marketing Manager Jack Sulymka.
Mousseau expects this summer to be a memorable one as the 17-year-old is due to receive his G2 driver’s license next month, coincidently when the vehicle in his desired “Titanium Silver” is expected to arrive.
