Volkswagen, a company that has much weight in the pursuit of world records as of late, has recently set a new record for driving the extent of the Pan-American highway in just 11 days, 17 hours, and 22 minutes. Spanning 14 countries and 16,000 miles, the trip began in the Argentina and found its terminus in Alaska. Using pre-planned fuel stops, a Touareg TDI, and a team of drivers to keep the vehicle moving non-stop, the feat is one that’s sure to stand for plenty of time to come.
