Infiniti FX Gets Facelift

Published on August 5, 2011 in News by Dan Fritter

Although it may have been considered something of an ugly duckling when it debuted, Infiniti’s FX-series crossover has become quite the popular vehicle. Having undergone a single revision since its inception, the sporty, lithe Infiniti has been getting more attractive with each passing year; or so it would seem.

But it looks like it’s going to take a sudden leap forward in the looks department quite shortly, with the news that the 2012 model year will see a significantly revised fascia adorning its Infiniti FX. Drawing obvious cues from Infiniti’s recent crop of concept cars, the new FX emerges looking something like a scaled up version of the M-class luxury sedan; bearing the same upright grille with concave edges. Additionally, buyers can choose from an expanded colour palette including the limited edition Iridium Blue model pictured, with optional 21-inch wheels replacing the stock 20-inch units.
