New BMW 6er to Get All-Wheel Drive

For a company that once billed themselves as the purveyors of the ultimate driving machines, BMW sure seems to be doing everything they can to make their cars a bit too driver-friendly. From the once-light and nimble 3-series to the fire breathing M5, technology has laden down each car in the BMW lineup; it's most recent roost being the new 6-series. 

A first rate grand-tourer wearing an all-new and sleeker-than-ever skin, the new 6-series boasts a similarly fresh drivetrain that we already knew was heavily bolstered over the previous engine and transmission combinations, but this news did come as a bit of a surprise: it will also be available with xDrive all wheel drive.
