2013 Subaru BRZ Heats Up Montreal Grand Prix Weekend
Blvd. St. Laurent to be “Scorched” by Much-Anticipated Sports Car in Street-Art Installation
Subaru Canada is featuring its hotly anticipated 2013 BRZ rear-wheel-drive sports coupe at Montreal Grand Prix festival as part of a street-art installation that’s sure to turn a few heads. Parked on the corner of rue Guilbault and Boulevard Saint-Laurent, the BRZ will be showcased as part of an eye-popping, movie-style set featuring authentic props, including: a burnt mailbox, singed bike rack, melted street lamp and a massive 32’ heat-blasted brick wall. The result is a surreal replica of a Montreal street corner that appears to have been utterly “scorched” by the hot new sports car.

Utilizing Subaru's naturally aspirated 200-hp horizontally opposed SUBARU BOXER engine layout, Subaru developed the all-new BRZ with three fundamentals of sports car design: low vehicle weight, an ultra-low centre of gravity and precision steering. The Subaru BRZ will be available for sale in mid-June.
