More info on four door Fiat surfaces

If you like the looks of the Fiat 500 but really can't do without four proper doors, then perhaps this might interest you: the new Fiat 500L.

The progeny of the even more awesome looking Fiat 600 Multipla that hails from roughly the same era as the original 500, the new 500L may have been revealed in March, but has remained a bit of an unknown quantity ever since.  However, Fiat's recently come clean about their new retro wagon, and the important things to know are that it's still small (13.6 feet long), will seat five, and boasts two more cubic feet worth of cargo space than the Mini Countryman. Furthermore, with the rear bench seat (adjustable fore and aft) folded, the 500L will be able to handle packages up to 8 feet long.

Here in North America, just one of the three available engines is expected to make the cut, with that being the 1.4L, 95-horsepower four cylinder. Europeans will also be able to select a 105 horsepower two-cylinder or a 85 horsepower turbodiesel.
