Audi Presents Four New TDI Models in Los Angeles

The four-ringed car builder unveils four new vehicles powered by the TDI® Clean Diesel engine at the Los Angeles Car Show.

They are the Audi A6, A7, A8 and the Q5 SUV.

The big Q7 SUV powered by an updated TDI V6 is also part of the unveiling.

TDI® Clean Diesel engines provide up to 30% better fuel economy than the non-turbocharged versions.

The Ideal Engine

For the occasion, all these Audi models receive a 3.0l V6 TDI engine developing 240 hp with an impressive 406 lb-ft of torque.
The Q7, on the other hand, sees the power of its 3.0l V6 TDI engine increase from 225 to 240 hp.

2014 Models:

• A8 TDI: expected Spring 2013,
• A7 TDI: expected Fall 2013,
• A6 TDI: expected Fall 2013,
• Q5 TDI: expected Fall 2013.

As a reminder, the Audi Q7 TDI is available in North America since September 2012.
