2013 Aston Martin Vanquish - From Vancouver to L.A.

Published on November 28, 2012 in Los Angeles by The Car Guide

The new Aston Martin Vanquish has already made its Canadian debut at the Luxury & Supercar show in Vancouver, and it is now on its way to Los Angeles for the L.A. Auto Show.  The Vanquish represents a return to the nameplate that was abandoned in 2007 in favor of the DBS moniker.

The Aston Martin Vanquish is a beautifully-sculpted coupe that does justice to the elegant history of the British brand, which is known for its marriage of high performance with top-notch aesthetics and luxury.  Under the hood, the Vanquish features a 12-cylinder engine that is good for 573 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque.  This is a sizable upgrade over the DBS that it replaces, which provided a 'mere' 510 horsepower.  A six-speed automatic transmission sends the Vanquish's output to the rear wheels.
