2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK 250 Bluetec: A Canadian premiere in Montreal
In the looks department, the GLK receives only a few changes. Headlights are new, the bumpers are redesigned and the lower cladding is now painted in contrasting colour. Out back, the taillights are brightened-up by fibre-optics, and the bumper is also modified. Inside, the instrument panel is all-new.
The V6 version is back, however the horse count of this 3.5 litre engine is now at 302, a gain of 34 over the previous iteration. For the Canadian market, the good news is the long-awaited coming of a diesel engine under the hood, a turbocharged 2.2 litre four cylinder, making 190 horsepower and an impressive 369 lbs-ft of torque. This new version will be available early next fall.
