Aston Martin Rapide S: More aggressive and more powerful

Following in the footsteps of the new Vanquish and DB9, here comes the Aston Martin Rapide S. This five-door extended coupe has undergone a major facelift, with the most pronounced changes affecting its front section.

The British automaker has redesigned the vehicle’s front grille, reducing its width and increasing its height. The result is more aggressive and reminiscent of the One-77’s grille.

Personally, I prefer the current model’s grille.

The inside is unchanged, except for new colour pairings and a sportier overall demeanour.

More powerful than the DB9

The Aston Martin Rapide S is powered by the infamous 6.0L V12 that now produces 558 horsepower – that’s 81 more ponies than the regular Rapide.

This car takes just 4.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h and its top speed is 304 km/h.

The Rapide S’ geometry was updated and now includes a firmer suspension with three-position adjustment.
