At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Japanese automaker Mitsubishi will be pulling the veil off two concept cars – both of which offer a glimpse of the future of alternative fuel vehicles.

One is called the CA-MIEV and the other is the GR-HEV.

The Mitsubishi CA-MIEV

The CA-MIEV concept looks to be the precursor to the next i-MIEV model, which will feature a new high-performance electric motor and high-density battery pack. It’s expected that this will translate into greater range.

The Mitsubishi GR-HEV

This concept vehicle is a Sport Utility Truck (SUT) with a hybrid system that includes a diesel engine. The GR-HEV features an all-new AWD system that integrates both the Super Select 4WD and Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) technology found on the EVO models.
