Bentley at Montreal’s "Temple of the Flying Spur"
Amid a lot of fun and fanfare, the new Bentley Flying Spur has just been unveiled to Montrealers.
It’s the British automaker’s most powerful sedan ever.
Christophe Georges, President and COO at Bentley Motors Inc., seized the opportunity to vaunt this exceptional vehicle’s best features and capabilities.
Next up to the mic was Joe Segal, owner of Decarie Motors, who thanked the event’s special guests for their generosity. All proceeds will go to the Miriam, which provides services to people with intellectual disabilities.
The 2014 Flying Spur
As the group’s sporty sedan, this car features a classic exterior enhanced with modern touches.
Thanks to its size, its sumptuous interior can accommodate up to five passengers, offering extreme comfort and the most advanced infotainment technology.
It’s powered by an enthusiastic 625-horsepower 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12, which is paired with an eight-speed automatic ZF transmission. Despite its weight, the 2014 Bentley Flying Spur takes just 4.6 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h.
Happy valets
Decarie Motors invited some industry brass to the evening event, many of whom were given the chance to drive the cars of their dreams, including vehicles from Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche, Land Rover, Lotus and a Cadillac XLR.
All these cars were carefully returned to the parking lot by professional valets, who were thrilled to take the wheel of vehicles that are generally inaccessible to masses.
