Range Rover Evoque Convertible To Be Produced

A senior Land Rover executive has allegedly confirmed to the British Magazine What Car that the previously cancelled Range Rover Evoque Convertible will, in fact, be produced.

The concept car made the rounds in 2012 but the company later said it would cancel the project. Now it seems Range Rover fans will get their wish in 2014 when the convertible SUV will go on sale.

The company had mentioned potential competitors to the Range Rover Evoque Convertible to be the Audi TT Roadster and BMW 3-series Convertible however the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet would seem to be the only other convertible crossover to be hitting the market.

The standard Evoque has been a success so far with 220,000 vehicles sold since 2012.
