For the first time ever, an automaker will make more than ten million vehicles in one year. Toyota Motor Corp, which includes Daihatsu Motor Co. and Hino Motors Ltd., will attain this milestone for 2013 according to a report published by the Nikkei newspaper.

Toyota will announce the global production plan on Friday, after its earnings report.

Last year the automaker sold just under the ten million vehicle mark, taking back the title of world’s largest automaker from GM.  According to the report, 3.3 million of the 10.1 million vehicles will be produced in Japan.
