Audi Q7 E-tron Will Become a Reality

Although Audi decided not to market its stunning R8 e-tron, it is quite different from the A3 e-tron plug-in hybrid drive, which will become a standard model with a relatively limited production run.

We’ve leanred that the second vehicle sold by Audi benefiting from this innovative technology will be the massive Q7.

If the Audi A3 e-tron can settle for a four-cylinder 1.4-liter TFSI engine combined with an electric motor, which represents a total output of 204 horses, one can easily imagine that the plug-in hybrid Q7 will rely on a V6 3.0-liter engine.

It will likely inherit an engine based on that of the new Porsche Panamera S Hybrid-E, but the power will be more generous, and in relation to the weight of the SUV.
