Return of the Suzuki Cappuccino?

Since its 2012 withdrawal from the North American automotive market, the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki continues to amaze us.

First, with the unveiling of a new SX4 model at Geneva, whose silhouette is very nice and then again with development of the future Grand Vitara which could be unveiled in Frankfurt.

Today it’s a small convertible called the Cappuccino making headlines, as it seems likely that this good-looking convertible will be reborn from its ashes.

The Suzuki Cappuccino

The little two-seater convertible was offered between 1991 and 1997. Its engine was a 660 cc three-cylinder delivering 64 horsepower.

The future Suzuki Cappuccino would remain a rear-wheel drive car and would be made with the help of another manufacturer.

Among the contenders are manufacturers Caterham and Fiat with which Suzuki has held sporadic cooperation in the past.
