2014 Chrysler Town & Country 30th Anniversary Edition

In 1983, Chrysler created a niche with a few new models which would be the precursor of a class of family-oriented vehicles called minivans.

In November 1983, the first Chrysler minivan came out of the assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario. It wasn’t long before all the other manufacturers came to offer such a vehicle, especially the big three in Detroit.

Since then more than thirteen million Chrysler minivans have been sold.

Creator of this extremely lucrative niche, Chrysler has introduced 78 innovations in the segment since 1983 including Stow'n Go which is exclusive to the brand and the first Blu-Ray entertainment system for rear passengers.

To celebrate the anniversary Chrysler will offer special "30th Anniversary Edition" models of its 2014 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan with an array of unique features such as:

- Exclusive paint colors;
- 30th anniversary emblem placed on the front fenders;
- Chrome roof rails;
- 17-inch wheels in polished aluminum;
- Torino black leatherette seats for the Grand Caravan;
- Alcantara trimed seats for the Town & Country;
- 30th anniversary emblem placed on the dashboard.

The 2014 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan 30th Anniversary Edition are powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with VVT, generating 283 horsepower. Everything is coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.
