Audi Q1 for 2016?
A possible entry level Audi vehicle, called the Q1 could be brought to production for 2016, according to a new report from German magazine AutoBild.
Entering the lineup just below the Q3, it would be the smallest Audi and use a 1.4-litre gasoline engine with likely a diesel option and a larger displacement option of around 2.0 litres.

Following styling cues from Audi’s Allroad products, the car would have brushed aliuminum accents on a plastic body. No AWD is envisioned, however.
The report says a plug-in hybrid option will follow and use a 1.2 litre gasoline engine making 11ohp and an electric motor making 109hp. The vehicle is not expected to reach North American shores.
