BMW M5 and M6 to become AWD

The main rivals of these two cars from their Audi and Mercedes-Benz competitors are all offered with all-wheel drive systems. They also sell very well.

The competition’s successful approach seems to annoy the BMW team, which does not offer all-wheel drive versions for their M5 and M6 models.

Today, the German automaker is considering correcting the situation and will likely be offering AWD versions for the M5 and M6 models, which have always been rear-wheel drive vehicles.

Before seeing BMW’s xDrive AWD on these cars, we’ll have to wait until their next generation models are released in approximately three to four years time.
