2014 North American Car and Truck of the Year Nominations

This is the time of the year where fifty U.S. and Canadian journalists make a list of cars & trucks to be nominated for the title of "2014 Car and Truck of the Year."

The award is an extremely important prize for manufacturers which will be presented at the opening of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Initially, there are more than forty cars and vehicles eligible for nomination. Today we are presented with the shortlist of models that have attracted the attention of the jury.

Last year, the Cadillac ATS seized the title of Car of the Year, while the RAM 1500 won Truck of the Year.
