PASMAG's Tuner Battlegrounds Competition Will Crown a Winner at SEMA

Over the course of this year, Performance Auto & Sound Magazine has been holding a contest called Tuner Battlegrounds. The contest is a bracket-style competition to find Canada's best modified car.

Competitors had the chance to sign up by entering their car into various qualifying events around the country last spring and summer. The competition was conducted via public voting on the Performance Auto & Sound website.

After four stages of voting, the finalists were selected to have their vehicle sent to compete in the final two rounds during the 2013 SEMA show. Here they are:

Frank Daniels with his 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS
Salik Zaki with his 2005 Scion xA
Tyler Pflanz with his 1993 Toyota Supra
Luigi Arroyo with his 2008 Honda S2000

The public can also vote via phone or text (a la American Idol) to pick the winner of stage five ad crown the champion. Details are available on the Tuner Battlegrounds website at tunerbattlegrounds.com.

Update: Tyler defeated Luigi and Salik defeated Frank in the stage 5 matchups. It will be Tyler and Salik in the final. Winner to be announced Nov 8.
