North American Debut for the Kia K900 at L.A. Auto Show

Kia will be debuting its new K900 sedan in North America later this month during the L.A. Autoshow.

The K900 uses the same platform as the Hyundia Equus and will be the Korean manufacturer’s first attempt at an upscale luxury vehicle on a budget price. The vehicle is also known as the Quoris outside of North America.

Engine options have not been announced but rumor has it there will be both V6 and V8 options. The 2.8-litre V6 currently offered in South Korea would be a good bet for the powerplant to be used in North America.

As for price, figure it to start in the area of $55,000 but go upwards up $70,000 once fully loaded with features that may include LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, a 17-speaker stereo system and a heads-up display.
