Electric motor in each rear wheel
The rear wheels are each given an electric motor, making it a rear-drive sport coupe. A production version is planned, which would inherit many of the characteristics of the LEAF engine. This is a car that would compete with the eccentric Volkswagen XL1 whose production is about to begin.
The Nissan BladeGlidder Concept will be officially unveiled at the International Motor Show in Tokyo this week.
