MINI Cooper John Cooper Works Concept

After the official launch of the third generation the MINI Cooper at the in Los Angeles Auto Show, MINI plans to unveil the John Cooper Works Concept next month during the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Although just a concept, it will be likely be very close to the upcoming production model.

Like a true MINI transformed by in-house tuner John Cooper, the concept is adorned with a flashier and more aggressive look, especially in the front end.

The concept is differentiated by:

- Its large black grille;
- Its large air intakes;
- Its redesigned bumpers;
- Side skirts;
- Its dual exhaust;
- Its roof spoiler ;
- 18 inch alloy wheels.

The MINI Cooper John Cooper Works will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder making 217 horsepower, an increase of 9 horses over the standard MINI.
