2014 Tokyo Auto Salon: The Japanese SEMA Show

Published on December 30, 2013 in News by Gilles Olivier

After the famous SEMA Show in Las Vegas and the Eessen Auto Salon in Germany tuners can turn their attention to the Tokyo Auto Salon.

Unlike the SEMA Show which isn’t accessible to the general public, the Tokyo Auto Salon is the type of event that attracts all types of visitors.

In Las Vegas, modified Ford Mustangs, Chevrolet Camaros & Corvettes and Dodge Challengers & Chargers stole the show. In Essen the German tuners did the same with mainly European models.

At the Tokyo Auto Salon, ten local builders will take advantage of this opportunity to unveil their creations to the delight of thousands of visitors.

Unfortunately, media coverage is poor and if it were not for the internet, we wouldn’t hear much about the show.

15 of the more interesting vehicles expected are:

Daihatsu Kopen Included Future Concept: micro cabriolet with aggressive styling .
Daihatsu Deca Deca: urban micro van.
Honda Fit Rs Mugen Concept: more than just a show car.
Honda N- BOX + Element Concept: a smaller Honda Element reserved for Japan.
