Audi will invest $30 billion by 2018, including expanding its lineup and going from 49 to 60 different models in 2020.

Starting next year, Audi will offer its gleaming second-generation R8 supercar, a new TT and the new Q1 mini SUV shortly thereafter.

After reaching its goal of selling 1.5 million vehicles annually, Audi now wants to surpass 2 million units shipped each year.

This investment will also be used to create new jobs in different factories belonging to the Ingolstadt-based manufacturer.
