Nissan Sells its 100,000th LEAF
After a very modest start in 2010, sales of the Nissan LEAF – a fully electric vehicle - have exploded since last year.
So much so that the Japanese manufacturer announced that it sold more than 100,000 units of the car, half of which were sold in 2013.

For the occasion, they decorated a single car covered with 50,000 British 2 cent coins and 50 000 2 pence coins (British pound sterling).
The 100 000th Nissan LEAF was bought by a British man, Dr. Brett Garner.
