Once again, the Japanese automaker has sold more vehicles in 2013 than its main rivals General Motors and Volkswagen.

Toyota sold 9.98 million vehicles worldwide in 2013, up 2% compared to the previous year. Ever increasing sales should allow it to exceed 10 million units in 2014.

With the exception of 2011, Toyota has been to first place every year since 2008.

For its part, General Motors remains in second position with 9.71 million models delivered, representing an increase of 4% compared to sales in 2012.

In the third place, we find the German giant Volkswagen which generated total sales of 9.70 million units.
