Published on February 17, 2014 in Geneva by Gilles Olivier

In Geneva the Peugeot that needs to draw crowds to the booth of the French brand is the new 108, which is the replacement for the outgoing 107.

The 108 is a small city car that draws attention to the customization possibilities on both the outside and the inside.

It is available in both three and five-door versions which offer a choice of eight body colors, including some two-tone schemes.

Despite its relatively small size, its cargo space is impressive and can go from 196 to 750 liters by lowering the back seat.

Its three-cylinder 1.0 and 1.2-litre engines generate a respective power of 68 and 82 horses. There are no diesel engines for the new 108.

The Trio

The Peugeot 108 is part of a trio of small cars jointly designed by Toyota, Citroen and Peugeot who market the Aygo, C1 and 108 models, respectively.

They are assembled at a factory in Kolin in the Czech Republic.
