A visit to one’s favorite manufacturer's museum is almost a religious experience. You can admire the models of the past, learn more about the thought process behind small details, and sometimes even see a pristine example of your particular car! It is sometimes very hard to go there in the flesh, as they are often halfway across the globe.

Once again, Google comes to the rescue. Using the same technologies developed for the Street View program, the team of cameramen and programmers managed to create a virtual tour of multiple places around the world, including a couple of automotive museums.

Click here to visit the Lamborghini Museum, where you can see one of the 50 Sesto Elemento produced, admire V12s in all their mechanical glory and sit in a pristine Miura!

Mazda also opens the doors to its large museum, presenting models spanning almost a century of history, available by clicking here. It features the first MX-5, some of the earliest trikes Mazda produced and for the race enthusiast you can admire the wonderful Mazda 787B, winner of the 1991 24 hours of Le Mans, the only Japanese car to ever win the grueling race.

For the motorcycle adepts, Google offers you a tour of the Ducati Museum, accessible by clicking here. The circular display includes several racing bikes, showcasing the brand’s rich history.

A lot of unbelievable place are also accessible by Street View, like the White house, Acropolis, the Palais de Versaille or the Frick Collection. For a complete list, visit this link.
