Alfa Romeo 4C Spider: Only one Year to Wait...

Published on March 4, 2014 in Geneva by Gilles Olivier

The sexy little Alfa Romeo 4C will soon be available on our shores, and at the Geneva Auto Show, the Italian roadster is going topless.

This new targa-topped version will have a retractable cloth top.

As is customary for a convertible, the 4C spider is fitted with beefier support beams to protect its passengers and to strengthen the chassis. Because of that, the Spider is 60 kilos heavier than the regular version.

Under the hood, the recipe stays the same: a 1.7 liter, 4 cylinder engine producing 240 horsepower, bolted to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider does 0-100 km/h in only 4.5 seconds.
