Future Bentley SUV Already Has 2000 Orders

The Bentley SUV won’t be hitting the road for at least another two years and the British manufacturer already says it has 2000 pre-orders, according to a report by autocar.co.uk.

What is sure to be one of, if not the most luxurious SUVs on the market is still in the testing phase. The EXP 9 F Concept car that the SUV will be based on was first shown in 2012 and the production version will likely be similar, but not exactly the same. According to the report, Bentley will be making the final SUV a bit less boxy-looking.

Bentley will build the SUV in Crewe, England, adding about 600 jobs to the area.

Under the hood we can expect a V8 of some sort but no word yet on the final setup. The company also envisions a plug-in hybrid version of the SUV coming about a year after it hits showrooms.
