The autopsy report, added to the coroner's results and the investigation by Porsche, concluded that at the moment of the crash, the Carrera GT driven by Roger Rodas was doing 93 miles per hour, which is about 150 km/h. According to the German manufacturer, no mechanical failures were detected on the car.

According to the Los Angeles Sheriff's office, the security cameras of various businesses around the crash site showed no other cars around, meaning that the theory of illegal street racing is impossible.

Porsche issued a press release stating that the Carrera GT had been ''altered from its original design'', and was ''not maintained properly''. They are referencing the tires of the car, which had not been changed since the sale of the car, back in 2005. That was 9 years ago, which is a long time for performance tires, even when they are not used.

The Carrera GT entered a 90-degree curve going too fast, spun out of control, crashed into a tree, and then bounced back into a light pole.

The autopsy results mention that both passengers died shortly after the crash because of blunt trauma, and were not burned alive as earlier reports suggested.
