2015 Chevrolet Silverado HD and 2015 GMC Sierra HD: We're Driving Them This Week

General Motors has revamped its line of Heavy Duty pickups, and we're going to be driving the new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD trucks, as well as its 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD companion, later this week near Calgary, Alberta.

These work-oriented trucks are designed to tow hard, haul hard, and earn their living on a daily basis.  This means that there's not only a large-displacement 6.0-liter V8 engine available under the hood, but also a Duramax 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8 option for the ultimate in torque.  Chevrolet and GMC are additionally offering a bi-fuel drivetrain that can run on either gasoline or natural gas, aimed specifically at fleet operators looking to cut down on operating costs.

Check back with us next week for a full report on the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado HD and the 2015 GMC Sierra HD trucks.  Click here for additional coverage of GM's HD pickups.
