Thieves Target Range Rover LED Headlights

There has been a very peculiar phenomenon going on in the UK in the last months: Some Land Rover owners park their cars on the street, leave it there for a few hours and come back to find they are now missing their headlights and grille!

Quite a few Land Rovers and Range Rovers have been targeted by experienced criminals, who can remove the front of the vehicle in as little as 60 seconds. The stolen parts are then sold back to other Land Rover owners who wish to upgrade the look of their own cars. But some of those LED headlights also find their ways in the hands of cannabis producers, who use them as lighting to grow their products!

So far, the police have arrested about 15 people, and some of the missing parts have found their way back to their owners.
