Mansory Unveils itsTake on the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6

In the ''My truck is bigger than yours'' competition, the best weapon in your arsenal is certainly the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6. Based on an AMG G-Class, already an impressive vehicle, Stuttgart's engineers added another axle, and two differentials. They then lifted the truck a couple centimeters, a self-inflating tire system is installed, and the vehicle's bed is then covered in wood, to add a touch of luxury. This is, after all, a Mercedes-Benz... However, AMG has not seen fit to modify the engine, estimating that the 550 HP from the standard engine was plenty.

This was obviously a mistake, one that Mansory corrected. While tinkering with the insides of the engine, they changed the pistons, conrods, and bearings, and added a stronger crankshaft. A new exhaust system is also part of the tuning, giving the G63 a very healthy 835 HP and an electronically-limited 737 lb-ft of torque. These numbers are a lot more reasonable for this kind of vehicle.

And since this is Mansory, the visual modifications include carbon fiber. A lot of it. Specifically, the whole front of the G63 (grille, headlight contours, hood, mirror covers, front lip) is covered in the expensive material.

No prices have been revealed, but for the Arabian sheiks, business leaders and other billionaires, this is propably not a problem...
