The Car Guide is Live From the UK This Week!

Published on July 1, 2014 in Special Events by Frédérick Boucher-Gaulin

This week on The Car Guide's website, the theme is British automotive industry!

We are live from the UK, on a field trip to see the assembly plants, museums and restoration centers of the British car industry. For example:

 - The Aston Martin Works restoration center, located in Newport Pagnell. This old factory used to build Aston Martin's beautiful roadsters, but now they are committed to restoring cars from this brand's rich history.

 - The Aston Martin assembly line, in Gaydon. Where technology and tradition meet to assemble the lovely Vanquish, the DB9 and the latest addition to the lineup, the 4-door Rapide.

We will then visit Jaguar, Land Rover and Bentley's respective assembly plants, in addition to multiple museums showcasing the history of the British automobile.

Of course, there will be many more surprises during the week, so watch this space for the latest reports!

The Car Guide wants to thank Decarie Motors, who are organizing this trip. Being the main importer of Bentley, Aston Martin, Land Rover and Jaguar in Montreal for  three generations, they are the specialists of the famed English brands, which is why we can't wait to see what they have planned for this week!
