A Ferrari 250 GTO On Your Wrist

Published on August 8, 2014 in News by Frédérick Boucher-Gaulin

If you have always wanted to get your hands on a Ferrari 250 GTO, but don't have $60 million to spend on a whim, you may have to seek other options.

For example, how about a commemorative timepiece? This watch could help you get closer to your dream, since it is actually made from parts out of an original 250 GTO!

A few years ago, Irvine Laidlaw bought one of the fabled Italian sports cars and immediately had it completely restored. The shop that did the work had to replace some of the more badly corroded body panels, and Christopher Ward, a watchmaker, bought those parts to incorporate them into its creations.

This little piece of history can now be yours for $2750. It may sound like a lot of money for something that you will wear on your wrist, but it might end up as an investment, because time is a hot commodity right now...
