First Pictures Of The Aston Martin Lagonda

While Aston Martin has been building a sport sedan for the last few years, it doesn't have the pedigree to be real competition to some of the biggest names in the segment, like the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

To counter this, they have built an ultra-limited run sedan, the Lagonda. It will be sold exclusively in the Middle East, and one of their partners (and presumably a prospective buyer), Oman Air, just published the first official shots of the car.

During testing on a runway, the car was photographed being towed out of a plane, as well as posing near important members of Oman Air.

We can immediately see that the style is completely new, and harkens back to the 1970's Lagonda.

While we don't know exactly what is under all this gorgeous sheetmetal, we can safely guess that this car will feature a V12 of some kind, and the same chassis as all its other vehicles.

What do you think of this new car? Do you think it has what it takes to be a best-selling vehicle in its segment?
