Titan Project: A Nissan To Conquer Alaska
If you follow Nissan's Facebook page, you have already heard of the Titan Project. The manufacturer asked its fans for help modifying ten aspects of a Titan pickup truck to enable it to cross the harshest terrain. The result looks ready to tackle a post-apocalyptic war zone.
The exterior received significant upgrades, like a sturdy front bumper, a winch and an LED light bar mounted on the roof. Nissan also fitted the truck with 35-inch tires on 18-inch Fuel Revolver D525 wheels, fender flares and a roof rack. They even included a small trailer, complete with a camp-style kitchenette, a spare tire, fuel and water.

Inside, the Titan is not what you would call utilitarian: it features Katzkin leather seats and a steering wheel and shifter knob to match. The whole colour scheme has also been tailored to the exterior paint.
This pickup was not created just for show: it will be driven across Alaska by David Guzman and Kevin McMahon, two Iraq veterans collecting funds for the Wounded Warrior foundation, which helps soldiers wounded in combat.
