SYLVANIA Canada has released a short film titled “High Octane DRIFT - Presented by SYLVANIA SilverStar® zXe” produced by Feast Interactive and Revolver Films.

The short takes viewers through the trials and tribulations of the drift world, highlighting the particular experience of Canadian drifter Brad Carlton. The short provides perspective into drift culture, and the lifestyle surrounding this thrilling motorsport.

The short was filmed at the first-ever Formula DRIFT Canada Challenge, at Autodrome St-Eustache located just outside Montreal, Quebec, Canada held September 1. It was the first time Formula DRIFT drivers had ever competed on Canadian soil. Some non Formula DRIFT Canadians had the opportunity to qualify to compete against the best drivers in the world. Brad Carlton was one of those Canadians. This short focuses on the struggles Carlton faces as a privateer trying to compete against fully sponsored and financially supported drivers. It’s a story about passion for drift and never giving up on a dream.
