2015 Honda CR-V: First Image
Since the current version of the Honda CR-V has been with us largely unchanged since 2011, it was time to give it a few tweaks to help it attract more customers. The manufacturer just sent us a picture of the upcoming crossover to drum up interest before its official launch, scheduled for September 30th.
It’s pretty easy to see that this will be a minor evolution, not a total redesign of the vehicle. The headlights are different, more angular (one might see the influence of the Accord) and are now decorated with LED strips. The grille loses its three chromed strips in favor of a moulding that joins both light strips, giving the whole package a unified look. The lower bumper gets a (possibly painted) aluminium plate, and the fog lights are all-new.
We can’t say much else about the rest of the changes, since it is pretty hard to see inside the truck, and the rear is not visible in the only available picture. We can however see the new wheels, which take inspiration from those found on the Civic Si.
We will know more about the CR-V when it will be shown for the first time one week from now.
