A Recall For The Ferrari 458 Italia

A recall just landed for the #1 Italian manufacturer concerning their popular 458 Italia. This is one of the brand’s most powerful vehicles, and the sounds that come out of its 4.5L V8 are borderline sinful. It is also a very agile vehicle, and critics are positive that this is one of the best cars to ever come out of Maranello.

All of this is however irrelevant in this recall, since it is about a very selective problem: it would seem that the safety handle that opens the frunk (the trunk in the front of the car) from the inside is defective, meaning that a theoretical human stuck inside could not get out when the car is moving.

I say theoretical, because this compartment is so small that no one (except maybe a dwarf) could fit in there. Children may not understand how to operate said handle, and we can speculate that your luggage won’t feel the need to come out.

Ferrari will still have to recall more than 3000 cars, in the name of ‘’safety’’.
