Vortech Will Present A 2015 Ford Mustang At SEMA

It would seem that the vehicle of choice at SEMA this year will be the 2015 Ford Mustang, judging from the quantity of tuners that have already announced they will use this platform to showcase their products.

The most recent announcement came from Vortech, a centrifugal supercharger manufacturer. To pull itself from the masses of Mustangs on the show’s floor, they decided to go the flashy way: their car is painted Competition Orange, it features a 3D carbon front lip and 20-inch Forgestar F14 wheels. Handling should be more than adequate, with a set of Steeda coilovers and Baer brakes. Magnaflow will give the car a sound to match its looks.

But the real treat is under the hood: Vortech equipped the car with a big polished centrifugal supercharger from their V-3 Si product range. The Coyote V8 now makes 640 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque. If you are so inclined, Vortech can even sell you a kit giving that same motor over 1000 horsepower.

We will be able to feast our eyes on this Mustang at this year’s SEMA.
