Ken Block’s Seventh Gymkhana

Back in 2008, a certain video got a lot of attention on the Internet’s car sites: it featured a then-unknown driver for Subaru of America racing around an old airport. While this was cool, it wasn’t anything over the top. In 2009, the same driver (Ken Block) was back, this time with another WRX STi in a video featuring slow-motion jumps, unbelievable stunts and explosions.

An Internet legend was born.

In 2010, Mr. Block joined the ranks of Ford in the WRC. He also traded his Impreza for a Fiesta that wasn’t exactly stock.

The following Gymkhanas were done with that car, albeit with different liveries.

In the seventh opus, the Fiesta is gone, replaced with a fire-breathing 1965 Ford Mustang with all-wheel drive and an 800+ horsepower engine. We had the opportunity to see this car at the 2014 SEMA Show.
